About the Role We’re on the hunt for a driven Business Development Manager to expand our customer base and grow our market share in key verticals. Based in Melbourne (with hybrid working flexibility), you’ll be at the forefront of engaging clients, building relationships, and driving sales. Armed with case studies, a robust customer network, and proven methodologies, you’ll have all the tools to succeed. What You’ll Do Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients while securing new ones. Develop and execute sales strategies for targeted industry segments. Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and prospects. Partner with our marketing team to deliver compelling campaigns. Conduct discovery sessions to uncover client needs and solve pain points. Master procurement processes and technology to educate and inspire clients. Travel to meet key decision-makers and close deals in person. Leverage HubSpot CRM to track opportunities and forecast results. What You’ll Bring You’re a natural relationship builder with a knack for understanding client needs and delivering solutions. 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, preferably with complex products in procurement, risk, compliance, or workflow technology. Proactivity: You’re resourceful, self-motivated, and ready to take initiative. Tech Savvy: A SaaS native who can demo online tools with ease. Communication: Exceptional skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions. Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and prioritization abilities. Relationship-Driven: Friendly, persuasive, and comfortable engaging with senior executives. Privacy Focused: Committed to maintaining data security and client trust.
