Business Development Manager - Professional The Husqvarna Forest & Garden Division is a leading global producer of outdoor power products and solutions for forestry, parks, and garden maintenance. Collaborating with our sales team to develop and drive market opportunities through B2B and B2C channels, your focus will be on key customer segments of commercial and professional outdoor spaces, primarily Golf and Sports Turf, to execute business plans, strategies and ultimately sales, to accelerate our commercial robotics and battery handheld business. Reporting to the Pro Partner & Direct Sales Manager, you will utilise our market-leading position and leverage our capabilities and solutions to expand and enhance our commercial offering, both within our Dealer/Professional Partner network as well as within our Direct channel. Support the Pro Sales Manager to segment the market and identify new key accounts. Support the creation and execution of business plans, driving professional outdoor power equipment sales in Government, Sport (Golf), Hospitality (Commercial), and Landscaping (Green Space Professionals). Drive sales within the Professional segment to meet or exceed targets, ensuring current and future profitability. Work closely with the greater sales team and oversee Pro Partner expansion in strategic & untapped areas to further Robotics growth. Prospect and manage new leads for target segments, using CRM and other geographical software. Provide detailed mapping and quotations for Professional robotics installations, directly or with Sales Managers. Deliver presentations to key stakeholders to increase product, service and aftersales awareness. Provide in-field demonstrations and trials to showcase our products and solutions. Research and prepare competitor product comparisons, ensuring sales team knowledgeability of key market differences. Identify and manage participation in key industry tradeshows and events. Collaborate with the Training Manager to assess and address training needs for Key Accounts, Dealers and internal teams. About You: Experience directly within or servicing the Golf Course and Sports Turf industries would be highly regarded. University degree in business/commerce/marketing or relevant experience. Minimum 5 years business development experience in a competitive B2B environment incorporating hands on technical sales expertise. Experience in developing strategic growth initiatives, ideally within the overall green space maintenance segment. Strong Key Account or relationship management experience. You will be an adept negotiator across various levels and see opportunities to leverage your connections in the Golf & Sports turf industries. You should be a strategic planner with strong analytical skills, and hands-on in conducting product and solution demonstrations. You should demonstrate excellent active listening and influencing abilities, maintain high self-motivation, and positively contribute to the team environment. Extensive travel will be required.
