The Opportunity: An exciting role has opened for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team based in Wingfield, SA. As a key member of our team, you will manage existing client relationships and actively seek new business opportunities in South Australia. About the Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will: Manage and expand a loyal client base Prospect and proactively identify new business opportunities in health and safety training Network with industry bodies and engage with businesses requiring safety training Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to target potential customers Maintain and update sales data through Salesforce CRM Support clients end-to-end to ensure an exceptional experience Work across diverse industries including Construction, Oil & Gas, Mining, Defence, Government, and Infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Develop growth strategies and plans Build and maintain relationships with current clients Grow the client base and identify new sales opportunities Write business proposals and negotiate with stakeholders Research and monitor business opportunities and industry trends Review and draft contracts Report on sales performance and areas for improvement Update CRM (Salesforce) with accurate data What You’ll Bring: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Development, ideally within an RTO or the safety industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience using CRM tools, ideally Salesforce A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a client-focused approach Time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities A commitment to compliance and confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) The Benefits: Competitive base salary + superannuation + commissions Car or car allowance + phone + laptop Full-time, Monday to Friday (with some out-of-hours work expected) Join one of Australia’s most respected RTOs Be part of a vibrant team culture and make a real impact on safety standards If you are ready to make a difference and grow within a supportive and dynamic team, apply now!
