Business Development Manager - Security Systems Company Description Security systems installs & service, Security guard service & secure parking My client is an established and experienced electronic security provider that offers a comprehensive range of electronic security solutions complete from design, installation, maintenance and security guard services. With significant growth across the country, they are ready to build a great sales team and want an eager Sales Expert to join their leadership team in Melbourne. About the role This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Manager, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The role involves tasks such as new business development, sales, account management, and utilizing analytical skills. While primarily based in Melbourne, VIC, this role offers flexibility and progression to a National Sales presence. You will be responsible for: Identifying prospective client and partnership opportunities for the business. Self-sufficient management of the client opportunity pipeline from lead to agreement including proposal development, pitch delivery, and negotiation of commercial terms. Gathering feedback from clients and market trends to help the business develop future product and service strategies. Leading the development and implementation of the sales plan to deliver revenue targets and P&L growth. Driving sales and business growth to retail, corporate, and commercial clients. Utilizing an existing network with Retail, education, or commercial clients and experience selling security systems & guard services. Configuring complex, high-value tailored electronic security solutions and associated contractual terms that meet the customer's strategic goals. What we are looking for To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate: Experience selling direct to C-suite within the electronic security industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven problem-solving abilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions. Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently with a commitment to achieve results. Positive attitude, highly motivated with an ability to make decisions in a fast-moving environment.
