Business Development Manager - Utility Be based anywhere in Australia Work with a leader in the Renewable Energy space Be the face of the company in New Zealand Our client is a global leader in technology, research and development specializing in Panel Module and energy storage equipment for residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications. The company brings years of track record of growth and success with combined capacity of 230 Gigawatts module shipments globally with subsidiaries worldwide. The Position To keep up with the growth pace and enhance their business development and account management capacities, our client is looking for a talented and proactive Sales Manager to be their face in New Zealand. The ideal candidate can be based anywhere in Australia. Responsibilities Build strong commercial relationships with external stakeholders, implement strategic account approach to develop partnerships in Australia. Initiate talks with customers/partners on project opportunities, liaison with internal/external teams on solutions, negotiate with key stakeholders on commercial terms and finalize the business deals Carry on studies on market trends, customer requirements, competition status etc, and present to management with analysis and reports if required Conduct product training, seminars, presentation to customers and/or other stakeholders if required Requirements Demonstrated experience in a Sale and/or BDM role in Australia. A proven record of growing a portfolio of new clients, with success in closing new business. Previous experiences in renewable energy, utility experience will be highly regarded. Strong business acumens and able to learn and understand technical and product aspects of solar/BESS solutions. Ability to acquire new business and consult of solutions. Attributes in influencing key stakeholders. Comfortable working in multi-cultural environments. Proactive and result-driven, with a hunter sales style.
