Business Development Manager (desk-bound) Bridgit is a non-bank lender specialising in bridging loans. About The Role As a Business Development Manager (desk-bound) you’ll be responsible for managing broker portfolios, enhancing engagement, and driving new business opportunities. At Bridgit, we focus on activation—engaging brokers, educating them on our products, and driving business growth through persistence and strong relationships. We’re looking for someone who can handle rejection, stay determined, and maintain a proactive, solution-focused approach. Over The First 6-12 Months, You Will: Manage and monitor assigned broker portfolios through various channels to provide exceptional service. Develop a deep understanding of products, policies, and loan structuring to offer informed guidance. Discuss loan scenarios and structures with mortgage brokers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our network. Increase broker utilisation through engagement and education. Efficiently manage tasks and undertake additional duties as directed by management. Qualifications: Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in financial services. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Persistence and determination to engage brokers and drive activation. A positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of initiative. Problem-solving and collaboration skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a high-performing team and deliver high-quality work.
