Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert Business Engagement and Support Coordinator The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide. The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development. The Role The Business Engagement and Support Coordinator will support the Senior Business Engagement and Support Advisor / Business Engagement and Support Manager in executing community engagement strategies and activities within their designated precinct of the project. This role is pivotal in assisting the Engagement team in the delivery of effective communication and engagement throughout the project. Roles and responsibilities: Identify issues and develop strategies to minimise impacts on local businesses during the construction of the T2D Project Implement communications activities to respond to community issues as per plans developed by the Engagement Manager, including the local business engagement plan Plan and manage contact with external stakeholders and the community in a way that enhances the reputation of the Torrens to Darlington Alliance and organization partners Assist in gathering information to inform the development of the Stakeholder Relations and Communications Management Plan and ensuring this information is kept up to date Assist the business support and engagement team to work with third party providers to design packages to support businesses during the construction works (including social media, marketing etc) Contribute to a range of high-quality communication materials, including notifications, newsletters, advertising, social media posts and formal correspondence as well as co-ordinate business door knocks as appropriate Manage responses to all project related communications matters including via phone, email, website and social media in line with agreed client framework About you Tertiary Degree or certificate or relevant experience in public relations, journalism, stakeholder management or marketing Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in community engagement. However, applicants with limited experience but relevant Tertiary qualifications, or transferrable skills will be considered. Understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in diverse communities is desirable Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity to convey complex information to a variety of audiences Willingness to learn and take enthusiastic interest in developing skills while in the role Familiarity with the local area and community dynamics is highly desirable We offer Your success is our success, and as an Alliance, we are committed to being an employer of choice in Adelaide.
