THE ROLE As a Business Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the financial, administrative, and operational functions of the school. You will work closely with the Principal and leadership team to ensure the efficient management of resources and the smooth operation of daily activities. Oversee school financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance. Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, staff development, and workplace policies. Supervise general administration, ensuring smooth daily operations and support for teaching staff. Oversee school facilities, maintenance, and service provider contracts. Provide strategic advice to school leadership on financial and operational matters. Support school council operations, including preparing reports and recommendations. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support staff. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. High-level written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of human resource management, including recruitment and staff development. Ability to work collaboratively with school leadership and external stakeholders.
