We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Risk Practice and Compliance Manager, to support the Head of Risk Practice and Compliance to develop, implement and embed Equity Trustees’ (EQT) risk management framework, including key aspects relating to complaints and incident management, risk and compliance training and regulatory change. In this pivotal role, you'll also be instrumental in helping EQT to have a strong and effective system for monitoring compliance obligations and controls. As the Risk Practice and Compliance Manager, you'll work closely with the Enterprise Risk team to assist the Risk Partners to provide valued and informed risk advice, guidance and challenge to the business areas they serve. Beyond this, you'll take ownership and act as the subject matter expert for key policies and frameworks across the broader EQT Group. About the role: Provide risk and compliance advice and support, particularly in relation to complaints and incident management. Advise on regulatory change matters. Contribute to developing and delivering compliance training, and second line monitoring activities. Collaborate with other members of the Enterprise Risk team, to achieve a unified approach to second line activities. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, contributing to projects and promoting a positive risk culture. What you'll need to succeed: Proven experience as a Risk/Compliance Manager, with a strong track record of delivering results. Deep expertise in the Financial Services sector, particularly within the Superannuation industry. In-depth understanding of the Corporations Act and SIS Act, and how these apply to the operations of the EQT Group. Comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory environment in which EQT Group operates. Familiarity with automated compliance systems, with the ability to leverage technology for efficient monitoring and reporting. What we can offer you: A warm, open and supportive culture.
