About the role The Business Partner – Finance (Members & Volunteering) is responsible for providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance to support strategic decision-making to the Members & Volunteers, including Member Branches. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent business analysis skills, and the ability to communicate and build effective relationships, managing the tension between business requirements and financial outcomes. Initially, you will report to the Head of Finance Operations to document, review, and understand current financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement change. This role requires strong collaboration with both Finance and Members & Volunteers teams. What you will bring Substantial experience in financial analysis, business partnering, and/or management consulting. Sound analytical skills with the ability to undertake significant projects and interpret complex financial data, draw meaningful insights, and present findings to non-finance stakeholders. Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in financial analysis and reporting. Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, anticipate business needs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to operate under limited direction from senior employees and work with and lead teams and people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environment. Workday Adaptive & Office Connect experience beneficial. Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and other financial software; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP) preferred.
