Job Title: Business Services Manager A leading Australian business advisory firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to serve as Manager for its growing Business Services Division in Sydney. This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills. Key Responsibilities: Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT or payroll tax returns for individuals, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts. Expert utilisation of a range of accounting software including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks. Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients, including analysing financial and non-financial information to assist clients to monitor performance. Develop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery. Recognizing potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promoting the firm and its services to both clients and associates. Manage the team training and mentoring with responsibilities to help grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole. Qualifications: 5+ years' experience within Business Services, with strong technical skills; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar and completed CA/CPA qualifications; A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities; Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Expertise using accounting software including APS, MYOB and cloud-based tools e.g., Xero, QuickBooks. Have work rights, Australian Citizenship or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia.
