You’ll lead a team of specialists dedicated to providing exceptional service, supporting change, and driving improvement initiatives. Your responsibility includes ensuring these changes are consistent with ADF Careers’ transformation strategy and seamlessly integrated into business-as-usual operations. Additionally, you’ll collaborate closely with implementation program teams to ensure alignment with the Functional Service Delivery Model (FSDM).You will: Develop and deliver a business solutions strategy and change request process to support system and Commonwealth change activities, ensuring consistency and business continuity. Gather input from ADF Careers and clients to align activities with business priorities and target achievement. Identify, scope, and implement change opportunities through stakeholder engagement and a deep understanding of business processes. Provide strategic analysis on the impact of change initiatives to senior stakeholders for informed decision-making. Lead cross-functional teams to address barriers and drive successful outcomes. Build strong stakeholder relationships and leverage expertise for impactful business changes. Establish a framework to track, monitor, and report on initiatives and key insights. Ensure effective communication with stakeholders on requests, progress, and resource needs. Develop team capabilities and maintain a strong talent pipeline for key roles. Collaborate with continuous improvement teams, aligning efforts without directly managing them. Translate technical requirements into business outcomes and design comprehensive business implementation plans. Maintain high service levels to strengthen client relationships, meeting or exceeding Defence and contract expectations. Proficient in identifying, scoping, and implementing opportunities for system and process improvements, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity in business operations. Experience in leading teams to address challenges, overcome barriers, and achieve strategic goals effectively. Proficient in navigating Defence compliance requirements. Adept at bridging technical and business requirements, ensuring mutual understanding and seamless collaboration across teams. Skilled in creating frameworks to capture, monitor, and report on key initiatives, enabling data-informed planning and performance tracking. Tertiary qualification in relevant field desired. Minimum 3-4 years of management experience.
