Sydney CBD Initial 12-Month Contract Lead multi-layered teams and application projects across SAP, Microsoft, web technologies, and business intelligence. Seeking an experienced and innovative Business Solutions Manager to lead critical application designing and implementation projects. This role, based in Sydney CBD, focuses on developing and executing IT application strategies while driving technological innovation and business process improvements. Reporting to the General Manager of IT, you will manage multi-layered teams of project managers and analysts, ensuring the delivery of sustainable, high-impact business solutions across SAP, Microsoft, web technologies, and business intelligence tools. Key Responsibilities Oversee and implement IT strategies aligned with current and future business needs. Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver targeted SAP S/4 HANA projects and business intelligence capabilities. Drive innovation with emerging technologies, including web and mobile solutions. Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and quality service delivery. Build and lead high-performing teams, focusing on training, mentoring, and performance management. Resolve issues effectively to ensure project success within assigned timeframes. About You You are a strategic thinker with extensive experience in IT applications and project management, particularly in SAP S/4 HANA implementations. Your qualifications and experience include: 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Manager/ Application Manager/ Business Solutions Manager/ Head of Enterprise Applications including managing SAP and non-SAP systems. MUST have held one of these titles previously!!! Proven expertise in leading cross-functional and multi-layered teams on SAP projects. Demonstrated ability to manage issues and deliver successful project outcomes on time and within budget. Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline, with certifications (e.g., SAP, ITIL, Microsoft) highly regarded. Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
