Job ID: J0125-1605 (Please quote job ID on resume when applying) Department: Engineering & Regional Utilities Job Description The City of Abbotsford’s Engineering Department is seeking an experienced and self-motivated professional to join their dynamic team as a temporary, full-time Business Systems Support Clerk for approximately 8-12 months or until the return of the incumbent. This is a technical and administrative support role providing guidance and assistance on a variety of business processes for specific business systems. The successful applicant will provide user support and assist with in-house training along with a variety of administrative and clerical duties. This position requires a high degree of initiative and the ability to make good decisions regarding priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. The successful applicant will possess a high degree of technical computer literacy and the ability to investigate efficient ways of providing customer service, support, and/or problem-solving issues are essential. Educational Requirements To be considered for this position you will have: Completion of Grade 12, plus post-secondary courses in information technology/computer information systems or a related discipline. A minimum of two years of business systems support experience applicable to the specific role or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Amanda software would be considered an asset. Salary This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $28.85 - $33.95.
