The position demands deep technical expertise in C#, SQL and batch process automation, ensuring efficiency and reliability in risk management solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader with a vision for automation and standardization in the traded risk landscape. Responsibilities: Lead Engineering Capabilities: Drive the development and standardization of traded risk engineering frameworks, ensuring best practices and innovative solutions are implemented. Technical Proficiency: Provide hands-on coding expertise in Java or C#, along with deep knowledge of SQL and batch processing technologies. Lead by example in coding practices and reviews. Batch Processes and Integration: Design and oversee batch process execution, ensuring seamless integration with other risk systems and technologies. Automation and Reusability: Champion automation initiatives for repetitive tasks, promoting reusable components that enhance efficiency and maintainability. Visionary Leadership: Guide the traded risk technology team in adopting cutting-edge solutions, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. Mandatory Skills Description: 8+ years experience in same role Strong hands-on coding experience in C# with expertise in SQL (including stored procedures). Proven track record in traded risk engineering, focusing on development and standardization. Experience in batch process automation and integration with risk systems. Strong advocate for automation and reusability in technology solutions. Ability to lead engineering teams and drive innovation in traded risk management solutions. Nice-to-Have Skills Description: Experience with risk management platforms such as Murex, Calypso, or Finastra. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys. Exposure to cloud-based risk solutions and modern engineering practices. Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with business users.
