Eurofins Agro Testing is an accredited Agricultural testing laboratory that specialises in Soil, Plant and Water testing with laboratories located in Hindmarsh South Australia, Belmont Western Australia and Burleigh Heads Queensland. Our client base includes farmers, agronomists, rural retailers and research organisations with our samples originating from all across Australia. Job Description The role is primarily preparing samples for instrument analysis, involving dispensing extraction solutions, capping tubes, centrifuging, and transferring extracted samples to secondary tubes. Working in a team you will accurately and efficiently process samples for various tests. On the job training is provided so no laboratory experience is required. Entry level role with on the job training provided Casual role with varying hours week to week, potential for full time hours throughout March Commencing beginning of March 2025, approx 1-2 months Hourly rate of $35.03+ penalties Based in Hindmarsh, South Australia Shift Work Roster We operate on the following shift structures and ideally you would be available on a rotating basis Monday to Friday: Day shift 8 hours between (7am – 6pm) Qualifications Reliable and ideally able to work a rotating shift roster Ability to follow procedures with excellent attention to detail Willing to work as part of a team with emphasis on quality and safety Experience working in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous (eg. Fast food, hospitality / warehouse) Good organisational skills, can multi-task Experience in a commercial sample preparation laboratory would be advantageous but not a requirement to be successful in this role Additional Information All candidate CV's and cover letter's will be reviewed, however please note that we are not always able to respond to every expression of interest submitted.
