Competitive pay based on experience: CNA: $18.00 - $22.09 We will pay your way through an LPN program or associate-level RN program. Responsibilities: Provides quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. Demonstrates respect, attention, and awareness toward the diversity among the people we serve (residents, families, caregivers, etc.) through their attitude, service, and actions. Is knowledgeable of the individualized care plan for residents and provides support to the resident in accordance with their care plan. Identifies and participates in QAPI process or leaves as an area of development. Assists in daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment of residents, including bathroom assistance, general personal hygiene, dressing, mobility assistance, food intake, and other needs in keeping with the individuals’ care requirements. Maintains resident rights and confidentiality. Documents all ADLs in electronic health record. Observes and reports symptoms, reactions, and other changes in condition promptly. Routinely turns and positions residents as required by care plan. Complies with all aspects of residents’ rights and is responsible for promptly reporting any incidents or evidence of resident abuse or violations of resident rights to the charge nurse or administration. Honors resident right to refuse care and reports such refusal to nurse supervisor. Assists in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment. Answers resident call bells promptly and courteously. Ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently. Takes and documents vital signs and records in EHR. Ambulates and transfers residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics. Uses only the equipment you have been trained to use, operates in a safe manner, and reports any defective equipment to supervisor immediately. Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors. Assists and escorts residents to appointments such as the hair salon, activities, church services, or doctor’s appointments.
