CONTRACT MANAGER AND PROJECT RISK ANALYST BASED IN MELBOURNE Consulting company specialized in contract and claim management founded in 2016, with constant growth and working in remarkable international construction projects in several areas (renewables, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, etc.), providing services mainly for EPC Contractors but also for owners, investors, and main subcontractors. Since 2023, Neucom started operations in Australia. JOB DESCRIPTION You will be assigned to one of our clients in order to perform the contract management of onshore wind farms. Based in Melbourne, you may have to travel to the applicable sites to know directly the project status, meet the site teams, and participate in key and progress meetings, with the twofold task of (i) project/contract control and (ii) identification and management of change, risks, and opportunities. In addition, you should also support possible ongoing litigation processes. We are seeking an eager, motivated engineer to join our growing and added value-oriented organization. As Contract Manager, your main tasks will be: Analyze Contracts Project Updates with Clients and Main Subcontractors Drafting project letters, claims, variations, and reports. Managing change processes. Support project risk and opportunity identification and analysis. Establishment and implementation of project-specific contractual procedures, particularly regarding claims, insurance, variation orders, correspondence, and notifications. Other ancillary contract management tasks as well as providing general support to Sr. team members, including reporting, data entry, presentation creation, strategic planning, and customer service as needed. Support the elaboration and follow-up of supply and subcontractors’ contracts to ensure that back-to-back obligations are fulfilled. Ensure proper notices are given in line with contractual requirements. Perform regular project site visits and regularly engage with the client’s team at Site for project updates and identification of risks and opportunities. Coordinate, if applicable, the project and legal teams in possible ongoing disputes and litigation processes. REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE English C level; other languages, especially Spanish, shall be positively valued. Good interpersonal and strong communication skills with a willingness to challenge others. A good listener, self-confident individual with a strong personality and ability to meet tight deadlines, and an analytical mind. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/databases. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Previous experience: +4 years in construction-engineering projects, ideally with experience in the wind sector.
