Job Description

Leigon Drilling is a specialist provider of environmental and geotechnical site investigation services. Our clients are a diverse range of government, mining, and infrastructure organisations. Legion is currently looking for a high-performing individual to operate CPTu, DMT, and Shear Vane equipment on geotechnical investigations. Project locations will vary from busy CBD streets to remote locations only accessible by sea or air. In addition to completing fieldwork, you would assist the direct sensing manager with project reports and tender preparation. At times, you may assist other parts of the business, including drilling operations and other direct sensing tools specifically for environmental investigations such as the MiHPT and UVOST. We are prepared to offer nationally recognised training and development and significant autonomy/flexibility. Desirable attributes: Experience as a CPTu operator. Experience as a geotechnical or environmental engineer. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field. A passion for completing high-quality work. Physically fit and experienced with long days. Enjoy travel and accept flexibility with work rosters. Ability to maintain a positive attitude on challenging projects. A love for technology and championing new technologies.
