Job Description

Job Summary: In this role, you will coordinate and support completions certification activities and turnover/handover for a project, through construction, commissioning, and handover phases of the program. You will liaise with stakeholders to identify gaps in upcoming packages and focus on areas to support the completions effort. Your work will help ensure projects are completed on time and meet contractual requirements. Major Responsibilities: Ensure that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and meets engineering requirements as design. Coordinate with Vendor Representatives for all activities relative to site acceptance testing (SAT) and site integration testing (SIT) of 3rd Party packaged systems. Coordinate daily with all the I&C team members relative to daily tasks and provide support to startup operations and construction as required. Coordinate field instrument technicians to provide field instrumentation support for commissioning, start-up, and LNG performance run. Coordinate with Health & Safety, Operations, Process, Mechanical, Electrical and other disciplines to provide solutions for multidisciplinary issues. Coordinate IPF (Instrument Protective Function) testing on 3rd Party packaged systems to ensure compliance with safety testing procedures and Functional Safety Assessment 3 (FSA 3) requirements. Assist in preparation of dossiers for FSA3. Provide resolution to technical questions arising with field instrumentation and 3rd Party packaged systems, and ensure compliance with management of change procedures for corrections and engineering changes during construction, commissioning and startup phases. Communicate and interface between the Instrument testing teams, ICSS team, 3rd Party vendor representatives, and the client when testing is being performed to ensure all parties are familiar with the testing and procedures. Coordinate interface testing between ICSS and 3rd Party vendor packages including Electrical Control and Monitoring System (ECMS) when testing requires all party involvement. Ensure accuracy and completeness of testing. Assist and coordinate troubleshooting between instrumentation, ICSS, ECMS, and 3rd Party packaged systems. Coordination and support to construction, sub-contractors, instrument vendors, and control room operators. Provide assistance to pre-startup safety review prior to LNG performance run. Lead, co-ordinate and ensure lotto procedures are fully complied with and utilised correctly. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Preferred experience working on any of the following systems will be favourably considered: Metering Packages Analyser Packages Baker Hughes Gas Turbine Compressor / Turbo Expander packages Additional Information: This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.). The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
