Managing Director at Gluten Free Bakehouse Pty Ltd Location: Chelsea Heights Company: Temptation Bakeries Temptation Bakeries is a family-owned business of over 40 years. We now have several factories and brands supplying all supermarkets, airlines, and food service sectors. Our brands include Temptation Bakeries, Gluten Free Bakehouse, Charlotte's Bakery, and Lorrie's Gourmet Pies. Are you passionate about coffee and customer service? Do you have strong communication skills and experience in managing a dynamic café environment? If so, we want you to join our team as a Café Manager! Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily café operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional customer service. Manage a team of baristas, providing training and support to maintain high standards of coffee preparation and presentation. Ensure the factory outlet section of the café is well-stocked and organized, with regular inventory checks. Handle ordering and inventory management using computer systems, ensuring all supplies are timely and adequately stocked. Prepare staff schedules and manage rosters to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency. Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers to foster a positive working environment. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with health regulations. Qualifications: Strong barista skills and a passion for coffee culture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in computer applications for ordering, rostering, and email correspondence. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
