Job Description
News Call for Expression of Interest: ICDC Trainers - Australia The successful applicant/s would need to successfully complete an ICDC Train the Trainer (TTT) program. Spaces in the TTT program are limited, and acceptance into the TTT program will depend on the application being supported by the ACA. About the ICDC The ICDC is a signature training program delivered by a team of volunteer trainers, through the Australian Camps Association under the auspice of the International Camping Fellowship (ICF) . The Australian program has been delivered 12 times since 2009 and has earned a reputation for quality facilitation and industry relevance. Approximately 180 camp professionals have completed the Australian course to date. Becoming an ICDC Trainer Certification of ICDC Trainers is controlled internationally through the ICF ICDC Coordinator, Connie Coutellier. ICDC Train the Trainer programs are generally held alongside an ICDC course being held in conjunction with the International Camping Congress and other approved ICF/ICDC events. Entry into a TTT program is conditional on: Application to ICF Nomination/support by the Australian Camps Association Previous completion of an ICDC course TTT participants are expected to meet the cost of course enrolment plus transport. Succession Planning The ACA and the ICDC training team are looking to ensure continued viability of the ICDC - Australia and a smooth transition to the “next generation” of Australian Camping professionals.
