You will have the opportunity to collaborate with an on-site Exercise Physiologist and Dietician. About The Role This is a unique opportunity to join a team leading the way in cancer rehabilitation and lymphoedema care. Here’s what you can expect to be doing: Delivering Specialist Care: Provide patient-specific rehabilitation programs, including pre- and post-operative care, lymphoedema management, and symptom management for patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Hands-On Treatment: From manual therapy to exercise prescription, you’ll play an active role in your patients’ care plans. Utilising Advanced Techniques: Leverage cutting-edge technology, such as the OncoLaser system, to deliver superior outcomes in pain relief, swelling reduction, and scar management. Taking a Collaborative Approach: Work closely with GPs, oncologists, and other referrers to create seamless, integrated care plans for every patient. Building Relationships: Conduct home and nursing home visits to provide accessible care to patients in need. Personal indemnity insurance and Working With Children Check (WWCC). DVA approval (or willingness to obtain it). A valid driver’s license and willingness to conduct home/nursing home visits.
