About the opportunity The Capability & Learning Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative learning solutions that build workforce capability across Steadfast. Partnering with business leaders, HR, and subject matter experts, this role identifies capability needs, creates engaging content, and facilitates impactful learning experiences that align with business objectives and Steadfast’s strategic capability framework. This role requires expertise in instructional design, stakeholder engagement, and the use of digital learning technologies to foster a culture of continuous learning. Success will be measured by learning impact, business alignment, and contribution to Steadfast’s broader leadership and development strategy. Responsibilities Learning Needs Analysis & Consulting – partner with HRBPs and senior leaders to identify workforce capability needs and develop learning strategies and solutions that support business growth. Learning Design & Development - Lead the development and implementation of learning design standards. Apply instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, action learning) to create engaging, interactive, and business-aligned learning experiences across multiple formats (eLearning, face-to-face, blended learning). Program Management - Lead the end-to-end execution of key learning programs. Facilitation - Facilitate interactive and engaging training sessions (virtual, face-to-face, and hybrid). Learning Technology - Optimise the use of digital learning tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, authoring tools, AI-driven learning, gamification) to enhance accessibility, engagement, and personalisation in learning delivery. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement - Evaluate learning programs using data insights, business performance metrics, and compliance completion rates to ensure alignment with strategic workforce goals. Skills and Knowledge Degree qualified in adult learning, instructional design or another related field. 6+ years’ experience in Learning & Development. Proven experience in Learning & Development, including instructional design and facilitation. Extensive experience in instructional design and the development of engaging learning experiences. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and emerging learning technologies. Experience designing both soft skill and technical learning content, including leadership, communication, technology, and compliance-related topics. Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Suite, Chameleon) and animation software (e.g., Vyond, Adobe InDesign).
