Job Description

Prowash Busselton is an independent car wash in Bunbury WA. We offer 2 automatic and 3 self-serve car wash bays, car vacuums, car vending products, and a dog wash. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to manage our site. The manager will be focused on: ensuring maximum uptime of the car wash, dog wash, vacuum, and vending machinery. keeping the site clean and tidy. delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. A trade background and/or a background in customer service would be very desirable but is not essential. We would really like someone who can do simple repairs and preventative maintenance, keep things clean and tidy, and who can identify and resolve issues as they arise. You would work closely with the owner, coordinate casual staff, and engage with tradespeople and service suppliers. You don’t need a formal trade qualification, but if you have one, it would be very helpful. There’s a bit of plumbing, mechanical, and electrical (mostly low voltage) work involved. We can call in expert help when required. Key Responsibilities (subject to skills): Keep the machinery on site operational as much as possible. Deliver an outstanding customer experience. Maintain a safe environment for customers and employees. Deliver a high standard of conduct and presentation. Be reliable and well-organized. Demonstrate aptitude for working with computers. Operate with high integrity. Operational Duties: Assist customers in understanding how to get the best from the equipment. Address all customer questions and concerns and handle them in a professional manner. Maintain premises to a high standard, ensuring the site is clean and tidy. Adhere to safe work practices and use appropriate protective equipment. Ensure mechanical and other maintenance is attended to swiftly. Monitor and maintain inventory levels for chemicals and spare parts. Desired Skills: Troubleshooting and technical problem-solving ability. Must have: Your own reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence. Police clearance. Ability to lift at least 20kg.
