The role: As a Care Services Coordinator in an aged care facility in North Sydney, you are responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical care to James Milson Village consumers in the facility. This leadership position involves coordinating care plans, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring that consumers’ care needs are met in a holistic and person-centered manner. The Care Services Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing the quality of life for consumers, improving health and wellbeing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practice guidelines. Key responsibilities: Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the nursing and clinical care team, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care to consumers. Monitor the effectiveness of care interventions, review and update care plans accordingly to ensure optimal health outcomes. Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the care environment and outcomes for consumers. Mentor, supervise, and support nursing staff and other clinical team members, providing guidance on clinical best practices and consumer care. Who we are looking for: Postgraduate qualification in Nursing or Health (Aged Care-related). Minimum 3 years of management experience in the aged care sector with a proven track record of success. Current, unrestricted nursing registration (Registered Nurse) with AHPRA. Strong commitment to integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness. In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including the Aged Care Quality Standards. Ability to identify trends and implement best practices in aged care. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Proficient in programs such as Word, Excel, and adaptable to new systems. IPC preferred. What's in it for you?
