Based in Toowoomba, Case Linehaul was established in 1989 and currently operates curtainsider trailers for TNT between Townsville, Mackay, Sydney, and Roma. Preferred Applicant Location: Toowoomba & Surrounding Area Work Type: Express Overnight Essential Credentials: MC Licence / Clean Driving History / BFM Certification / Current Medical Professional & experienced with overnight transport. Proficient with the hooking and unhooking of B double trailer sets. Proficient with reversing of B double trailer sets. Even temperament, as contact with others in the depots is minimal. Presentable in appearance & ability to comply with minimal depot rules (e.g., induction instructions). Ability to complete daily pre-starts & file in line with company procedures. Exercise care with the truck internally & externally. Role Specifics Required start date – ASAP. 10-week confirmed block to cover the upcoming holiday period. Unlikely to dispense with the candidate after that time based on mutual respect for the applicant, given performance & feedback (i.e., high chance of forming into full-time thereafter). No loading or unloading required in that 10-week block. 5 nights per week every week. Living in the truck will be required for some of that time, including running Bris-Sydney return. Applicant will be supplied with his/her own truck for the duration of that time. Company Specifics Successfully run expanding operation based in Toowoomba with contracts in place with an international freight company. 30 plus years in the transport business.
