Case Manager – Intensive Family Support Hervey Bay IMPACT Community Services is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our Intensive Family Support program in Hervey Bay. This full-time role involves working closely with vulnerable families to enhance their capacity to care for and nurture their children safely. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing structured case plans, conducting home visits, and collaborating with community networks to address complex challenges such as domestic and family violence. To make a difference in this role, you will have experience in the following: Child Protection: Applying strategies to minimise risks, conducting home visits, and developing structured case plans to address child safety concerns. Practice and Engagement: Engaging with families compassionately and respectfully, maintaining clear and professional records, and liaising with service providers. Core Competencies: Demonstrated knowledge of domestic violence issues, proficiency in database systems, and strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and conflict resolution. Essentials for Success in This Role A university qualification in Human Services or a related field. Strong knowledge of domestic and family violence issues and their impact on families. Demonstrated ability to develop structured case plans and conduct risk assessments . High-level interpersonal skills , including conflict resolution and compassionate engagement with vulnerable families. A valid Working with Children (Blue Card) and Queensland Driver’s Licence .
