Uniting Country SA - Caring for Country People Closing Date for Applications: 18th February 2025 The Homelessness Services provides professional support and suitable emergency and long-term accommodation options for people who are, or are at risk of becoming, homeless within the Northern Country region. As the Case Manager, you will provide a service for people who are, or at risk of becoming, homeless - the outcome of which is to facilitate the process of moving the clients toward independent and/or safe housing. The Country North Homelessness Alliance has developed a Charter dedicated to delivering quality, focused, inclusive and culturally safe services. The Alliance is underpinned by a culture of collaboration and cooperation to ensure the best possible outcomes for all clients in the Country North region of SA. Responsibilities: Have knowledge of the issues affecting homeless clients. Establish positive, empowering relationships. Advocate for and with your clients, ensuring their needs are the focus. Be organised and able to meet deadlines. Have a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal. Minimum Requirements: Current Australian Drivers Licence. Desirable Qualifications: Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related discipline. Two (2) years or more relevant experience, in a paid or voluntary capacity. You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
