This role is all about flexibility, giving you the chance to work on your own terms while still making a real difference in the lives of children. Key duties: Engage with children in meaningful play-based learning activities Implement and contribute to the development of educational programs that are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning experiences Skills & Experience: Fully completed Certificate III in ECE (or ACECQA equivalent) Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain) Current Do Food Safely Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Childhood (or willingness to obtain) A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Previous experience working in a childcare setting is essential Desired Skills & Experience: Passionate about early childhood education and care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A consistent willingness to get stuck in and show initiative Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong understanding of EYLF and Child Safety Standards Flexibility and adaptability to work in a casual capacity Commitment to ongoing professional development Why work with Tradewind?
