Conveniently located just off the Canning Highway in a residential street, Busy Bees at East Fremantle provides a calming, home-like environment for the children and staff. We seek passionate Early Childhood Educators dedicated to fostering young children's growth. You'll create nurturing, engaging learning environments, develop age-appropriate curricula, assess progress, and build strong family relationships. As we are expanding our team, Casual Educator opportunities are available at this leading childcare centre! Essential Qualifications: Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent). A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one. First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis. Essential Skills and Attributes: Ability to provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children. Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups. Capability to design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children. Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work as part of a diverse team. Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting. Desirable Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years. Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service. Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families, and individual children's needs. Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development. Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant, or similar.
