Casual Educator at Carlisle Early Learning Centre Posted: 10/11/2024 Closing Date: 23/12/2026 Job Type: Casual Location: Mackay Job Category: Education Job Description Role Description: Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Northern Australia) Ltd. is seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Casual Educator at Carlisle Adventist Early Learning Centre, Beaconsfield, Mackay, QLD. NAAS follows Queensland Child Safety practices, including child protection training. As a member of the Carlisle Adventist Early Learning community, you will join a passionate team, committed to striving for excellent education and care of children. Key Criteria: Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework. Supports the service Statement of Philosophy. Highly developed written and verbal communication/presentation skills. Ability to self-manage and meet timelines. Demonstration of initiative and innovation. Commitment to quality outputs and competent in information technology. General knowledge and/or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of relevant legislation. Professional presentation and attire. Application Requirements: Applicants must have, or be actively working towards, Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and hold a current Working with Children Check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training or be willing to obtain. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the Service.
