To get some insight into what we do, please visit About You To ensure our guests experience a peaceful, valuable and positive stay with us, we are searching for an experienced Housekeeper to join our cleaning team to assist with the cleaning of our beautiful private residence. This position is located in the northern suburbs of Brisbane (approx 30kms from Brisbane CBD). This position will be responsible for the cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, communal areas (inside and outside the building), kitchens, and staff office space. Our guests need to feel comfortable and supported throughout their stay with us and as this position will interact with our guests at times during their stay, it is imperative that the successful applicant be empathetic, compassionate and have impeccable interpersonal skills. To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills, and attributes: Previous experience in a housekeeping/cleaning position is essential and experience cleaning within a health and wellness facility or within an exclusive accommodation establishment would be highly regarded. Ability to perform duties by following the correct Workplace Health and Safety procedures. Excellent verbal communication and ability to interact compassionately with people is a must. Be self-motivated with an ability to work independently. Physically fit to be able to perform various tasks of the role, e.g., lifting/moving beds for making and carrying cleaning equipment up and down stairs. Punctual and reliable. Must have own transport as public transport is not available. Full Australian work rights.
