Casual OSHC Educators | Holland Park State School Helping Hands Employment Type: Casual Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today's children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Casual Educators to join our team in Holland Park , working with children in our after-school care programs. This casual position offers flexible hours across various services. You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday to Friday 6:30am - 8:55am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:55pm-6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours in the school holidays too! About the Role As part of a collaborative team of Educators, you will assist with the daily operation of the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading engaging, child-centered programs filled with exciting activities like STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts – whatever sparks the children's curiosity! Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the broader community. Collaborating with a skilled team of Educators on-site. Who We’re Looking For While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for: A genuine love for working with children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities. Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check. Must have valid Australian work rights. A relevant Diploma-level qualification in children’s services, or be in the process of completing one (per ACECQA guidelines). What’s in it for you?
