Purpose of Role Convido is seeking an Operations Coordinator for our Melbourne, Australia market. Reporting into the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for assisting our Operations Team in preparing new apartments, ensuring existing apartments are ready for our guests, handling any issues or emergencies that arise, assisting in guest service matters, helping ensure linen & apartment supplies meet par levels and meet and greet services. Main Duties & Responsibilities Assist the Operations team in all aspects of apartment inventory management, key management, and guest service-related matters. Assist with setup and breakdown of apartment inventory. Attend technical appointments to ensure our guests' privacy. Manage Linen & Apartment Supplies, including ordering and stock take. Ensure apartment standards are met and maintained for every guest stay. Perform pre and post-arrival inspections, ensuring Convido continues to meet guest quality standards. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and provide manual lifting assistance, where needed and within reason. Respond to and manage guest service matters. Perform in-person meet and greet service for arriving guests, as requested. Assist in managing key suppliers to a positive outcome. Other tasks/projects as discussed and agreed. Meet and Greet Rates International Arrivals - Afterhours & Weekends - $100 Domestic Arrivals - Afterhours & Weekends - $80 Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 2+ years of accommodation, hospitality, real estate and/or supervisory experience. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to effectively multitask. Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills. Demonstrates high level of personal energy and productivity. Repairs and maintenance skills are a plus. Information Technology Experience (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change. Please note, work requirements across 7 days/nights. Availability to perform meet and greet services on weeknights, weekends, and holidays is essential. To be considered, you must be entitled to work in Australia, have a valid driver’s license and vehicle / and/or access to public transport that can enable you to attend M&G services anytime of day/night, and be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks. Confidence in driving, parking, and travel around Docklands, Southbank, and the CBD is a plus. Highly Sought After: Experience with hotel-grade Linen Residence close to the CBD. This role commences as part-time but has the potential to move into a full-time arrangement for the right candidate.
