We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Security Officer to join our team at Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre. This role will be key in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, staff, and visitors, while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional front-line customer service, addressing client needs and concerns with professionalism and care. Monitor and assess risks, providing proactive solutions to resolve issues as they arise. Accurately report and document incidents, activities, and observations during your shift. Respond promptly and effectively to medical and security-related incidents. Handle emergency situations in line with established procedures and site-specific systems. Foster strong working relationships with emergency services and key stakeholders. Apply conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on-site. Essential Qualifications & Skills: Current First Aid and CPR Certificates . Current Security License and Crowd Control License in the relevant state. Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. Prior experience working in a highly regulated environment, ideally in a security role. Flexible to work on a rotating 24/7 roster. High standards of personal integrity, presentation, and grooming.
