Higher education qualifications and advanced experience in exhibiting are highly desirable.As a Teacher Of TAFE Queensland, You Will Contribute To Developing And Delivering Quality Learning, Teaching And Assessment To a Wide Range Of Clients Through: Outcome focussed vocational education and training (VET) programs; Linking with industry, schools, universities, community, other TAFE and VET providers; Maintaining currency with industry practices, workplace delivery and contemporary teaching methodologies and philosophies; Working in an environment of ongoing change and continuous improvement. About You You will:Hold a Diploma, Masters or degree in Fine Arts, Art Education or a related field preferably. Possess demonstrated expertise and proficiency in one or more artistic mediums. Possess previous teaching experience at a college or university preferably. Have a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in art education. Actively participate in professional organisations and ongoing professional development. Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed; CUA51120 - Diploma of Visual Arts; or higher level qualification; Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials: TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; plus: TAELLN411 or its successor or TAELLN401A; and TAEASS502 or its successor or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B; Requirements A credential issued by a higher education provider which would enable the individual to satisfy the academic requirements for registration as a secondary school teacher and one (1) of the following credentials: TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor, or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor; or TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set; or A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education; Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided; Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided; Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.
