Job Description
EF International Language Campus (Brisbane) is located in South Brisbane. We deliver General English classes for international students. Our classes are delivered face-to-face over two shifts Monday to Friday between 8.30 AM-2.00 PM, and 1.00 PM-6 PM. Applicants should be flexible to teach some mornings and some afternoons across the week. We offer Casual and teaching relief contracts with flexible arrangements, and the salary is determined by the applicant’s qualifications and ELT experience (adults & children). The contract will be subject to the provisions of the Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020. There are multiple roles available for casual and relief teachers . We offer regular Continuous Professional Development to our teachers and a fun, vibrant work environment. Requirements: The ESL teacher is responsible, on an individual and team basis, for providing students with a variety of services and resources that enable students to reach their personal needs and objectives within the educational services framework. They will actively collaborate with all center staff to provide a welcoming and professional environment to everyone and a positive learning experience for students. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any major. TESOL qualification (e.g. CELTA or Certificate IV in TESOL ). Statement of hours for any previous ESL teaching experiences. Note – prior experience is not required. Two recent references. Able to teach during our busiest period (Sept-March) . Profile: Able to connect with all kinds of people and be the ‘face’ of the school. Active collaboration with colleagues, one-team mentality. A desire to keep learning and grow within an established education organisation. Flexible & reliable. Creative spirit.
