Working closely with Trade Partners, Merchandise Planning, Retail, and eCommerce teams, you’ll define and execute business plans from concept to sale, ensuring profitability and market leadership. What You’ll Be Doing Category Strategy: Develop and execute annual category plans, ensuring a competitive and profitable range. Range Management: Identify new product opportunities, optimize assortments, and lead range reviews. Financial Performance: Own sales and profitability reporting, pricing strategies, and promotional planning. Supplier & Trade Partner Management: Build strong relationships, negotiate terms, and optimize sourcing. Omni-Channel Growth: Align category strategies with eCommerce and retail trends to enhance the customer journey. Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure product compliance and sustainability targets are met. What We’re Looking For Experience in category management, merchandising, or buying, preferably within retail or FMCG. Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and trade partners. Precision & Agility: Ability to balance attention to detail with quick, confident decision-making. Proven financial acumen: in managing budgets, pricing, and profitability. Ability to analyse data: and translate insights into strategic decisions. Experience in sourcing, supply chain, or product development: is a plus.
