About the Role GrainCorp is currently seeking a Category Manager - Corporate Services to join our Procurement team, based in Sydney. This role is responsible for leading indirect procurement categories, including professional services. You will be tasked with developing category strategies that align with GrainCorp’s overall business objectives, driving responsible sourcing and sustainability initiatives, while ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes. Key responsibilities include: Leading procurement for indirect categories such as professional services Developing and executing category strategies that support business goals and drive continuous improvement Managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and performance to ensure optimal outcomes Collaborating with stakeholders across various business units to align procurement with operational needs Championing responsible sourcing and sustainability practices, ensuring adherence to ethical and environmental standards Mitigating risks within the corporate services category and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations About Your Experience Candidates will have prior experience in a Category Manager role, ideally with a Corporate Services focused portfolio. Candidates will also display: Proven experience in procurement within a corporate environment, particularly in indirect categories Strong negotiation and contract management skills Experience in responsible sourcing and sustainability initiatives within procurement Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach to working across different business units A strategic mindset, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement in procurement processes Ready to Apply?
