An excellent opportunity exists for suitable candidates to join Rex in the part-time role of Catering/Warehouse Officer, based at Sydney Airport. Reporting: The Catering Officer will report to the Sydney Catering Supervisor. Position Responsibilities: Aircraft loading and unloading and assist with the completion of required documentation Marshalling of catering vehicles onto and away from aircraft Loading and unloading of catering vehicles including maintaining appropriate stock levels General warehouse duties, including but not limited to;Ordering and receiving stock from suppliers Temperature recording of food, fridges and vehicles Building or replenishing food, bar and stores drawers in accordance with specifications General stock counts and stock rotation Assembling flights sets in accordance with specifications Ensuring cleanliness of the warehouse in maintained Ensure that warehouse vehicles are maintained Report any accidents and/or incidents in the correct manner Adhere to all Company policies and procedures Other duties as requested by the Catering Supervisor Selection Criteria: Previous airline experience is preferred Able to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) and Airside Driver’s Licence Willingness to obtain MR licence is highly desirable Able to work shift work that includes early starts, evenings, and weekend work High standard of physical fitness High standard of professionalism Ability to work in a team environment and a commitment to on-time performance Ability to work in an outdoor environment in a variety of weather conditions No experience is required.
