This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.The child is at the centre of everything we do and the way we do it.Duties Lead and manage the Child and Family Learning Centre as a place where the wellbeing of children and parents comes first, providing access and delivery to a range of education and health services, together with ensuring the success, accountability, and continuous improvement of the centre.Period of Appointment Ongoing - Start date of 14 April 2025Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. Hours per fortnight 73.5 hours per fortnightEssential Requirements Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment) Desirable Requirements An appropriate tertiary qualification, such as a qualification in Early Childhood Education, Child Care, Adult Education, Health Care, Community Development, or a related discipline. A current driver’s licence.
