Your new role The Centre Marketing Consultant is a key member of the Marketing Team, acting as the direct marketing contact for business centres within the TAFE. The role involves providing marketing expertise, developing budgets, planning and executing Above-The-Line (ATL) and Below-The-Line (BTL) marketing campaigns, curating content, and ensuring high-level communication with internal and external stakeholders. The CMC works closely with stakeholders to implement marketing actions, organises events, develops marketing materials, and ensures engaging digital content. They aim for continuous business improvement by staying updated with current marketing trends and industry changes. Other responsibilities include: Provide expertise and advise on a broad range of marketing and advertising mediums, including: press, broadcast, digital, outdoor, sponsorship, events, and community engagement activities. Deliver specialist advice to business centres on a broad range of marketing issues affecting the Institute and deliver expertise on marketing strategy, policy, and practice. Direct design team with timely, accurate design briefs to create exceptional digital, media, and printed collateral and provide media partners with on-brand content. Analyse campaign performance, measure ROI, and deliver clear, succinct marketing reports that enable informed change initiatives and best practice. Build and develop positive relationships with business centres and external stakeholders to grow and nurture business relationships and provide sound student recruitment and brand awareness opportunities. What you'll need to succeed A marketing, communications or advertising degree or relevant post-graduate study in a discipline relevant to the role or equivalent competence gained through significant industry experience, preferably in the government sector or agency experience working with government clients. Demonstrated ability to research, plan, develop and oversee campaigns, manage budgets, set priorities, and evaluate and report on projects and meet rigid and conflicting demands and deadlines. Project management skills, including stakeholder management and the development of targeted engagement strategies with the ability to lead and evaluate projects. Capability to work independently and effectively as part of a collaborative work team, accommodate and work well with different working styles. Plan your own workload, work effectively in a team.
