Role purpose The key purpose of the Mall Leasing Business Development Executive is to work closely within the Centre and Mall Leasing teams to deliver strong financial results through building and fostering a diverse mix of pop up kiosk retailers within the centre malls. The Mall Leasing Business Development Executive is responsible for prospecting, sourcing, fostering, and driving new retailer relationships, while navigating stakeholder expectations within the wider centre. What will you bring? The ideal candidate will possess experience in the following: A successful background in sales. The successful candidate is likely to come from either a retail management background, shopping centre pop up leasing or have a business-to-business background within the retail environment. Skills in communication and negotiation and closing deals whilst managing conflict resolution to meet business outcomes and foster strong relationships with tenants. Strong financial acumen and known for exceeding expectations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills as demonstrated by your background as a high performing sales executive. Able to source and build new business relationships for key locations across the shopping centre. Have strong stakeholder management skills as demonstrated by your background building effective relationships both internally and externally. Renowned for keeping abreast with current retail market trends, consumer needs and attitudes to drive and deliver outcomes to improve retailer experience. What will success look like?
