Gympie Regional Council (GRC) is seeking expressions of interest from a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the vacancy of Chair for Council’s Audit & Risk Committee (ARC). The Committee comprises: Three (3) Independent Members including Chair The Committee meets five (5) times each year with a dedicated meeting for consideration of financial statements. As the Chair of the Committee, you will contribute your leadership, specialist skills and knowledge to matters which assist Council in the oversight of internal and external audit functions, financial reporting, risk management processes, oversight of internal control systems and the progression of Councils ARC workplan. The successful applicant will demonstrate competencies which contribute to the leadership and operations of the Committee and will collaborate effectively with Council as it enters an exciting time in its development.
