Opportunity to support some of Australia’s most iconic retail, industrial and health businesses Commercial, results-oriented, flexible and collegial work environment Newly created, full-time 12-month contract role (with a possibility of extension), based in Perth or Melbourne Attractive base salary + super + team member benefits About the team Within the Wesfarmers Corporate Office, our Corporate Affairs team has broad responsibilities, aligned with Wesfarmers reputation, including corporate communications and reporting, advancing our sustainability objectives, delivery of our reconciliation commitments, government and stakeholder engagement and community partnerships including the Wesfarmers Arts program. One of the key activities we lead is ESG reporting for the Wesfarmers Group. We also work collaboratively with each of our businesses to develop strategies that are aligned with our ESG ambitions. Wesfarmers has recently introduced a new, group-wide ESG data system which aims to provide meaningful and actionable insights for senior leaders and meet evolving regulatory and reporting requirements. The system addresses diverse issues from people, to safety, climate, human rights and environment. We are excited to be looking for a proactive and collaborative individual to join our team, to drive the adoption and effective use of the system. What you’ll do Reporting to our Head of Sustainability Reporting, this role will: Get to know our businesses and their key ESG issues and material domains for reporting Develop and deliver a structured communication and change plan to ensure alignment and increase engagement across all stakeholders Adopt a change management approach that focuses on both the process and people aspects of the change Collaborate with sustainability and other teams in our businesses to drive adoption and use of the system Work closely with our Systems Analyst to maintain and update the system Develop training materials for our businesses to support the successful implementation and ongoing end user adoption of the system Provide regular reporting to track usage and identify areas for improvement Support ongoing changes in ESG reporting requirements including impact analysis, prioritising system changes and implementation What you’ll need Significant experience in delivering technology change within a large, complex environment Proven track-record implementing change management strategies to drive adoption of new systems Strong project management skills with an ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a drive for delivering results An interest and understanding of ESG, risk and assurance issues Nice to have’s Tertiary qualifications in an IT, business or change related discipline Certifications in change management Understanding of ESG and reporting functions and frameworks About Wesfarmers As one of Australia’s largest listed companies, we’re proud of our longstanding contribution to Australians.
