As the Channel Category Manager for Away From Home (AFH), you will play a pivotal role in executing our commercial strategies within the Sales Channel. Partnering with the Associate Director of Commercial Development AFH and the broader Commercial Strategy & Development team, you will lead efforts in strategic space planning to enhance the Range, Space, and Visibility of our brands, driving profitable growth for CCEP and our customers. Guided by the AFH Environments Strategic Playbooks and Look of Success, you will be instrumental in implementing best-in-class space merchandising principles to ensure shopper and consumer satisfaction in the AFH channel. This role will take ownership of both the short term and long-term macro and micro space strategy within AFH. This is an amazing opportunity to take responsibility in providing recommendations for both internal customer teams and external customer partners. You will collaborate with the broader team to develop proposals for optimal space utilisation for our categories and portfolios. You will directly influence customer decisions in partnership with Sales and Customer Category Managers through your Space Planning team. Additionally, you will champion the need for consistent methodologies and frameworks across channels, including but not limited to: range reviews, customer business planning, multiyear joint business planning, tenders, and strategic new business frameworks. You will adopt agile ways of working, immersing yourself across Sub Channels and will lean in with Customers and/or Channel teams where applicable. Success in this role requires intentional talent development, process simplification, strong governance, and deep business alignment. The individual must excel in leadership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management. What You Will Be Doing Environment Plans Execution:Collaborate with key stakeholders and wider team to embed Environment Plans for the Channel, outlined by the ‘Environment Look of Success’ Golden Rules to inform the Picture of Success (PICoS) into RED constructs in collaboration with relevant planning teams through leading a team of Space Planners. Influence trials and execution through to Customer and track progress to inform the evolution of Environment Plans. Insight-Led Short Term and Long-Term Macro & Micro Space Strategy:Work with the Category Strategy Team and Commercial Insights Team to identify and implement optimal space fundamentals for profitable growth that also deliver on our AFH LRP objectives. Create category centric planogram proposals for Customers which deliver a positive outcome for CCEP brands. Provide Space analysis pre & post implementation to inform commercial opportunities and identify Headroom for Growth. Refine processes, ensure consistency, and leverage best in class frameworks to enhance customer interactions and outcomes. AFH Channel Category Strategic Projects:You will champion the need for consistent methodologies and frameworks across channels, including but not limited to range reviews, customer business planning, multiyear joint business planning, tenders, and strategic new business frameworks. You will adopt agile ways of working, immersing yourself across Sub Channels and will lean in with Customers and/or Channel teams where applicable. Commercial Leadership:Partner with Channel Leads to build stakeholder capability and technical understanding. Lead conversations within the Commercial Development Team to ensure insights and strategic thinking drive strategic Range and Space decisions within the Channel and with customers. People Leadership:Foster a culture of development and innovation, engage with the broader business, and create opportunities for connection. Develop personal and team learning plans.
