Location: Fitzroy Victoria and travel to BSL sites Job Type: Permanent Full-Time or Permanent Part-Time Salary: $118,802.05 to $123,261.96 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 11.5% superannuation. The role includes: Providing ongoing pastoral and spiritual care, support, and presence to staff and volunteers. Sustaining a necessary and appropriate level of discretion and confidentiality consistent with a pastoral care role. Embodying and promoting BSL values to create a culture of work-life and collegial respect. Collaborating with other divisions and teams to strengthen wellbeing and pastoral care. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences: Qualifications in theology/counselling/pastoral care or similar disciplines. Proof of successful completion in at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or its equivalent. Experience and knowledge in all aspects of pastoral care within organisations. Ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to the social justice implications of faith traditions. This role is open to both lay and ordained people. Anglican Clergy or Laity must be in good standing in the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.
