We are currently looking for a seasoned professional to join the organisation in the role of Chief Financial Officer. About Us: We are a network of community pharmacies, united in their shared vision to make a difference in the lives of their customers by providing expert tailored health advice and genuine care. LiveLife Central provides business support services to pharmacies across regional Queensland from our office based in Noosaville. About the Role: This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and business partners contributing to the continued growth and success of our organisation. This role oversees the financial operation of 49 pharmacy and medical centre businesses owned by approximately 300 entities controlled by 37 individuals. You will provide advice and support to the CEO of LiveLife Pharmacy Network focused on operating successful community-based pharmacies. Key Responsibilities: Monitor the full group finance function and overall financial health, providing guidance and direction to management on business performance and strategic planning. Oversee the preparation and publishing of monthly KPI reports, quarterly management financial reports, and annual financial reports. Review monthly KPI reports to identify risks and opportunities proactively and liaise with external tax accountants to achieve timely financial reports. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, in addition to payroll services for approximately 800 team members, ensuring compliance with payroll software, modern awards, individual agreements, and employment law. Handle financial management of commercial and residential property portfolios. Develop and maintain appropriate internal accounting controls, procedures, processes, and auditing activities. Conduct due diligence, investment, and ROI analysis, making recommendations on business models and investment decisions. Manage strategic financial partnerships, including loan portfolio management and ensuring entities are suitably funded. The position is predominately a site-based role leading a finance team of 11 people providing services to these businesses as part of an administration centre of 35 people. Practical knowledge of GST, PAYG, and BAS preparation and reporting. Ability to develop and reinforce policies, procedures, and processes. Willingness to travel as required (not more often than quarterly). Proven ability to foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the finance function. Applied law experience. Success in a similar role (e.g., Financial Management, Control, CFO) in a multiple entity environment. Multiple entity reporting experience. Track record of implementing innovative financial solutions to enhance efficiency.
