Job Description
Chief Financial Officer and Senior Accountant Alpha’s founder has operated in the Australian vehicle industry since 2006, providing fleet services to meet consumer demand. Today, he controls Alpha Car Hire and Parking, Alpha Finance, and Autos businesses. With the new year and new business opportunities, the Group’s Finance & Accounting division is seeking two roles: Chief Financial Officer and Senior Accountant . These roles will work seamlessly together at our head office located in Brisbane’s CBD, in a solutions-focused and fast-paced environment characterized by honesty, accountability, respect, trust, and loyalty. Responsibilities: Chief Financial Officer: Reports directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for managing the company’s finances, including budgets, cash flows, financial forecasting, financial risk management, and day-to-day management of team members. Senior Accountant: Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for managing all major reporting and reconciliation duties, profit and loss, balance sheet, asset management (fleet), and payroll. Qualifications: The Chief Financial Officer should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (accounting, finance, business, economics, or an MBA), be CPA qualified, and possess extensive finance team leadership and senior management experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The Senior Accountant should be tertiary qualified, with demonstrated abilities in general or tax accounting, computerized ledger systems, advanced knowledge of Excel, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and a proven ability to perform cross-functionally in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.
